SCALLOPS NIGHT with friends. |
My friends and I barely see each other due to our crazy schedules, we decided to put together a pre-valentines dinner date at STK Ta Bay sa Paolito's Seafood House. It's a hole-in-the-wall antique-filled house-turned-resto which serves home cooked meal and managed personally by the Alcovers. Antique jars, plates, accessories and weapons filled the place. If you're an art lover of antique pieces, their collection will take you to the Spanish times.

EYEFUL of antique trinkets. A fashionista's collection. |
They don't have to spend too much on advertising since the word of mouth reaches the ears of a seafood fan--even big celebrities (they have a wall of fame to prove it!). Rumor has it that they serve really tasty baked scallops. We can't wait to try them!
Here are the some of the authentic dishes that we enjoyed.

BAKED SCALLOPS slathered with butter |

AFTERMATH: empty shells |

HOT and SPICY Sinigang na Baboy |

PANCIT CANTON for long life |
For group reservations, please call 256-2700 / 253-4732. They are at their peak during dinner, especially weekends.
