The Christmas Tree Lighting began when Movenpick Resort & Spa Cebu General Manager Klaus Graesslin handed a gold box to former DOT Regional Director Dawnie Roa. When she opened the box, a whimsical tune filled the atmosphere and a gold fairy descends gracefully from the air (a la Tinkerbell), waves the gold and silver-tipped wand to the tree..and ta-dah! Lights on.
